The Spice is an all-new wave range that gives you incredible rail carving, impressive speed through sections and instant drive out of turns. The design brief focused on offering more performance and progression than the Wedge, while being more user-friendly and forgiving than the Pro. The all-wave performance of the Spice allows it to handle a range of conditions, from small beach breaks to overhead point breaks.
“New” 9’3” x 32.75” - The 9’3” is the biggest in the range at 153L, designed to be the most stable option for heavier riders between 100-130 kg. The length glides easily when catching waves and gives you good speed to quickly paddle back out to catch another ride. At 32.75” wide, the board has plenty of stability to accommodate heavy paddlers or if you just want an ultra-stable ride.
New Carbon Surf Fins: Performance you can feel. The new, ultra-light carbon surf fins will enhance your performance in the waves, providing more drive, stronger grip, and faster speed out of turns. The carbon construction creates a stiffer fin, offering incredible drive as it grips and holds during your bottom and top turns. The construction is fine-tuned after numerous prototypes and tests to provide some flex in the tip of the fin, creating reflex and spring out of turns. As the profile gets wider towards the base of the fin, more layers of carbon help to stiffen the performance for more drive and hold. After a trip to Bali to test the different fin configurations, we were amazed by the noticeable difference in performance. The extra drive gives you more confidence to hold a longer bottom turn, generating more speed to hit the lip and carve with added grip and hold through your top turns. The new carbon center and side fins up the game not only in optics, but you can feel the difference in performance and weight. The carbon fins are up to 25% lighter. The Spice and Pro Blue Carbon and Blue Carbon Pro models have 4.5 and 4.7 side fins, as well as 120 and 140 center fins. Carbon fins are also available as an aftermarket item.
Beveled Rail Offers 3 distinct features: 1. The bevel rail creates a narrower planning area, helping to generate more speed and acceleration down the line. 2. The angle of the bevel helps you roll the rail effortlessly, making the board very responsive to pump on the wave face and sink through carving turns. 3. The bevel creates a thinner more pinched rail, so you don’t have to apply as much foot pressure to initiate turns.
