Straight & narrow outline makes for a fast & smooth glide. Wider nose & squarer tail compensate the volume from the narrow mid-section, providing a great balance of stability, trim & glide. Shoulder carry strap now closer to the rail, makes it easier and more comfortable to carry and allows you to attach your paddle when not in use. The edge release technology reduces drag by creating a laminar flow behind the board. By carefully increasing the width of the nose of the board and making its tail squarer, the stability of the Touring range has increased significantly, without compromising the overall width of the board. The result, a range of Touring boards with great glide and tracking, as well as more stability when paddling and turning. The Tikhine Touring models combine two very important aspects into one board which is ideal for cruising and traveling, provides stability and is very fast. On the one hand they still represent Karen Horen’s concept of the Women Warriors against cancer. And on the other you have the beautiful artwork of the talented Sonni Hoenschied.

The new S model is meant for lighter paddlers or high skilled heavy paddlers who seek that extra glide. The new L model is meant for bigger & heavier riders who need to carry much equipment on their voyages. Easy to hold the paddle close & vertical, which improves tracking and reduces the number of times you have to switch the paddle from side to side when paddling.
